CRIS Membership Information

Note: CRIS Dues are not refunded for any reason. Military Reserve Unit Members called to active duty should contact CRIS prior to their departure (if possible, any exceptions to be determined by the CRIS Board of Directors) to arrange to have any prepaid dues accrual applicable for the current remaining CRIS billing period suspended until their return from active duty. The suspended dues amount will then be applied as a credit to their dues for the period of their return. Persons returning from active military duty with a suspended dues balance will not be required to pay the standard application fee to rejoin CRIS.

New Members: This page contains important information for new members who have joined CRIS. Please make it a point to pass it along to anyone in your office who can benefit from this information.

Your Membership - What You Should Know

Welcome to CRIS, serving seven REALTORŪ Associations (Akron, Stark, Youngstown, Warren, Portage, Tuscarawas, and Coshocton) in nine counties (Summit, Stark, Trumbull, Mahoning, Columbiana, Portage, Carroll, Tuscarawas, and Coshocton) with MLS services. In order to serve you quickly and efficiently we put together a list of important points that you should be aware of:

New REALTORŪ Agents: After you join and fulfill your local board of REALTORSŪ membership requirements, you are eligible for MLS service. The local CRIS board that you join, or are assigned to, collects your application and membership information. In order to process your application for CRIS, an application fee of $150 is required. Once you are processed, approximately 24 hours from the time it is received by the CRIS Membership office, you will have access to the Rapattoni system. The Internet URL for the MLS is http://crismls.rapmls.com/ . Your ID and password are your state assigned license number (file number) when you first log in. After that, you must change your password in order to keep it confidential. As a new agent, you also must attend a CRIS new member orientation program within 90 days after joining CRIS. If you do not attend this orientation, you/your broker are subject to a $100 fine. Contact your local board for availability of these classes.

Membership Changes: For any membership changes, adding or changing a voicemail, new alternate phone number, or change of address, please contact your local CRIS board to give them the necessary information. They will then forward it to the CRIS Membership office to update Rapattoni. It is important that member information flow first to the local board and then to CRIS.

Transfers: When transferring from one company to another, you must provide your local board with your new company information. This is to insure that both your board and Rapattoni are updated with your new company information.

Dues Billing: CRIS membership dues are billed semiannually. Member dues are due March 1st and September 1st of each year. This covers a six-month period, which takes you up to the next billing period. The annual dues for a REALTORŪ member are $300 (sales tax applies), for REALTORŪ / NORMLS Reciprocity members are $120 (with tax), and for a Non- REALTORŪ dues are $540 per year. Dues are prorated according to your license date when you first join.

Note: Anytime agents reinstate or transfer to another realty company, their CRIS password reverts back to their license number. The same applies for new agents. When they log in for the first time, their password will be their file number.
