To
create/adjust a Map connected to a listing, you must first obtain the longitude
and latitude coordinates for the property address.
1) Go to
ycar.org and find "Geocoding"
under the Industry Resource Links
Click the link provided to jump to the Free
Geocoding Service
(or go to
www.travelgis.com and click "Free Geocoding" link)
2) Enter the
property address, city, state and zip,
and then click the Geocode button
3) Take note
of the coordinates provided...
4) In
Rapattoni MLS...
Access
the listing and go to the "Revise
Listing" options
Click "Listing Information"
Enter the coordinates in the appropriate fields (see picture below)
Note: Longitude will begin with a minus
sign, enter as much of the coordinate as
possible, from left to right.
Click "Submit"
View the Listing Details and click the See
Map link to view/confirm results.
