and wireless, a laptop system should definitely be considered.
Prices have dropped dramatically and home networks are easy to
create.
With broadband internet access at the office and at home, you can now easily
take your computer with you and eliminate that "tethered"
desktop!
However, should you be considering a used system, recommended minimum
PC requirements needed to operate Rapattoni MLS, plus accessing
the Internet, are:
-Pentium level processor - 200MHZ or higher recommended
-Windows 98® or newer operating system
-4 GB or larger Hard Disk, with a minimum 70MB of free disk space
-SVGA Monitor, using display settings of 800x600 at
High Color (16 bit)
RAM (Memory):
-For Windows 98® or Windows NT 4.0®, a minimum of 64MB
RAM (128MB recommended)
-For Windows ME®, a minimum of 128MB RAM (256MB recommended)
-For Windows XP® Home, or better yet XP® Professional, a minimum of
256MB recommended
No less than a 56K baud rate modem for work, although NOT
advised, Rapattoni MLS system will be extremely SLOW!
BROADBAND Internet Connection,
Cable
or DSL is highly recommended for a more efficient MLS experience!
Microsoft Internet Explorer® 5.5 or later
(freely downloaded at www.microsoft.com) is the recommended browser
program
for experiencing optimal performance from Rapattoni MLS, and from the
Internet.
Note: AOL dial-up users are advised to connect to the Internet with AOL, and then upon connection, minimize AOL, return to your Desktop and then open Internet Explorer®.
