REMEMBER…
...starting October 1st, mandatory usage of 10-digit dialing begins. In other words, you must dial the area code in front of every telephone number. You will need your T-III dial up connection configured to utilize the area code or come October 1st, you won’t be connected. Don’t forget to also update the preset numbers in your fax machines, your telephones and cell phones and the dial up numbers to access your internet provider. HOW TO CONFIGURE CRIS DIALUP FOR 10-DIGIT DIALING (Win 98)
1- On your desktop, click My
Computer…
2- In the My Computer folder, double-click Dial-Up Networking…
3- In the Dial-Up Networking folder, right-Click the CRIS dial-up
icon…
4- From the drop-down menu, click Properties…
5- In the Properties dialog box, click in the check box in front of the
option to Use Area Code and Dialing Properties…
6- Click OK to accept the change and close the dialog box.For

HOTSEND EMAIL ATTACHER REVISITED
Of all subjects I have written about, the totally free utility from www.Hotsend.com has generated the most interest. It has recently been updated, improved and renamed Messenger Plus, but you can still get it from www.Hotsend.com. I can fax to you step by step details with screen shots that will instruct you in how to configure your T-III program to access the ISP/E-Mail Service at the CRIS Intranet Site. If you already have an existing e-mail account with another provider, you can simply forward your crismls.com messages to that account.
T-III UPGRADE 3.5C COMING OCTOBER 1ST
T-lll Upgrade 3.5C is coming and will mainly consist of Data Input changes. “Secretary” Workshops will be held September 6th & 7th to educate data input persons. New forms will also be introduced to coincide with the upgrade.
