Putting Market Update To Good Use
In
T-lll REALTOR® Workstation, the MAIN MENU features a button
labeled Market Update. To utilize this valuable tool, follow these
steps:
Perform your Listing Search as usual, i.e.
click Listing Inventory, then Listing Search, then Search Criteria
Once your Customer’s criteria is set, then… Click the
Saved Criteria button at the screen lower right
Click New, then enter your Customer’s name for future Market
Update searches
Click Close. Your criteria is now saved to the name you entered.
Return to Main Menu and click Market Update
Select the Buyer’s Name (or select a group of buyers’
names)
Click Search Today, or select Search Date Range
These steps may also be
followed to create “Hotsheets” for any area, any status, any
property type, etc. And speaking of Property Types, in Market
Update you will be able to perform all your saved searches, all at
the same time, regardless of the property type!
To
e-mail T-III Listing Details to a client using
eFax Messenger Plus, note the following procedures:
Step 1 - In T-III, click Print and choose
Customer or Agent synopsis as usual, then…
click Setup
click dropdown arrow under Specific Printer:
choose Send with eFax Messenger Plus
choose Landscape under orientation
click OK to accept setup changes
click OK to print
Step 2 - In Messenger Plus Document Delivery
box, click on Save tab
Choose Desktop as your Save In location
Type in your customer’s name for File Name Critical!!! BE SURE
TO CHOOSE .exe AS FILE TYPE (this is the self-extracting
self-viewing format that you need to send, so that your customer
will be able to open and view the information)
Click Save
Go to the next listing and repeat the procedure in Step 1…
When you get to the File Name step, double-click the customer’s
file name from within the file choices CHOOSE APPEND to add the
next property to this same file Repeat the entire above procedure
for any additional properties to be added.
Step 3 - Attach the file created with Messenger Plus and e-mail It
to your customer.
In your E-mail browser, go to compose new message.
Attach the file per your browsers attachment procedure.
In your message area, instruct your recipient to “Save the
attached file to your desktop.” “Then double-click on the icon
to open and view it”
You may also want to explain that the file is self-extracting and
self-viewing, meaning they will not need any special software to
unzip or view the contents.
