SAVE YOUR SEARCH CRITERIA
For those clients that you perform
daily property searches in T-III, after you've entered their search criteria,
click the Saved Criteria button at the bottom of the Search Listings
page. Click the New button and type in your client's name. Click OK. You should
see their name in the list of Saved Criteria. Click Close. Now, when you need
search this clients criteria again, click the Market Update button on the
Main Menu. Highlight (click to select) the client's name and click Go to Search
Today. Click the Search Date Range button for a wider date search. Market Update
allows you to search across different Property Types with saved criteria. Market
Update is an efficient and practical search tool built right in to T-III.
CLEAN UP YOUR HARD DRIVE
Use Disk Cleanup to
help free up space on your hard drive. Disk Cleanup searches your drive, and
then lists temporary files, Internet cache files, and unnecessary program files
that you can safely delete. To start Disk Cleanup, click Start, then Run. Type
cleanmgr, then choose your C: drive. Do this at least once a week to reclaim
needed hard drive space for better system performance.
HOME.CRISMLS.COM
Interealty has
introduced a new interface to the free crismls.com e-mail service that comes
with your T-Ill account. Go to the How To section at www. ycar. org for
details on how to configure your software to access home.crismls.com. Then
simply log in with your T-Ill user ID and password to access your e-mail, plus
the CRIS intranet information site. As before, if you have an e-mail account
with another provider, you can easily forward your crismls.com messages to that
account.
ATTENTION COMPUTER SHOPPERS:
Renting your next computer might be
a better way to get it. Why rent? Cheap or nonexistent startup costs,
tax-deductible payments, a predictable monthly cost, plus, in many cases, once
the lease or rental term is up, you can trade the old machine in for a new.
Check out Gateway or Dell for their leasing plans. For a "free"
computer, PeoplePC offers a package of a new computer, unlimited Web
access and in-home technical support. How can it be free? For these companies,
the cost of the hardware is incidental. They make their money on the service.
