OAR offers Tech Help Line at 1-800-436-8919
The Ohio Association of REALTORS® has launched one of its most comprehensive member benefits designed to help membership stay on the leading edge of technology.
Ohio's REALTORS® may call a toll-free OAR Technology Help Line and speak directly with an expert that will be able to solve technological traumas.
"Technology--for better or worse--is key to success in today's real estate market," notes OAR President Steve Brown. "Technology allows us to keep in touch with homebuyers and sellers…stay informed about our marketplace…and hone a competitive advantage.
"Still, sometimes the most advanced computer system or programming software can develop an annoying glitch--creating a potential for delays that can cost REALTORS® money, time and customers. The OAR Technology Help Line will help members--from the novice to techno-savvy user--overcome obstacles and focus on making the American Dream take flight!"
"It's easy to reach a high frustration level when your computer has crashed, you're trying to complete a transaction, you have a buyer waiting and you feel like the operating system is holding you hostage," Brown said. "Now our members can find the help they need to resolve technology problems before they escalate, and since the assistance is coming from the Ohio Association of REALTORS®, they know it's a source they can trust."
As a new member service, calls to the OAR Technology Help Line will be free.
Experts will offer advice on an array of topics--ranging from troubles involving various operating systems (Windows, Macintosh, Lotus or Palm Pilot), to answering software questions for real estate-specific programs like Top Producer to office management staples such as FileMaker and Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Power Point, Access and Outlook).
