READY FOR RAPATTONI
T-lll’s Days Are Numbered
Come August of this year, your MLS provider will be a company known as
Rapattoni. Named for it’s founder, Andy Rapattoni, the Rapattoni Corporation
has been the leader in Real Estate Association Management software since 1973.
Our association has used their software application, known as Magic, for
years. Database management being their specialty, it was only a matter of time
before they moved into the business of hosting Multiple Listing information.
Transition:
Rappatoni
will be ready to go at the end of July and within a two week period will be up
and running, and totally replacing Interealty’s T-lll software, the Net.MLS
website and the CRIS servers in Virginia. To get an idea of how your MLS
interface will look come August, go to www.lbar.com
and click the “Find A Property”

TRAINING:
Rappatoni will be offering training sessions, prior to cut-over, dates, times
and locations to be announced. Be sure to check back for updated info.
ISP:
You
will need an Internet Service Provider. If your area Cable Television company
offers cable Internet Access, then go for it... you will appreciate the
speed increase.
E-Mail:
Most
ISP's provide e-mail service. If you currently depend on your e-mail account at
crismls.com, be prepared to discontinue using it. Unless, Interealty
relinquishes ownership of the "crismls.com" domain name, CRIS will not
be able to transfer the domain to another e-mail provider. Check back for
updates on this situation. In the meantime, you may want to obtain a free e-mail
account with Hotmail or Yahoo. These are web mail type accounts that are not dependent
on a particular provider and are accessible from any PC anywhere.
